Job Description

Oban Dental Care is in the picturesque, seaside town of Oban, in Argyll and Bute. The town has great access to the beautiful Scottish Highlands but is just a 2 hour drive from Glasgow or can be reached by train. We are seeking an Associate Dentist to join our busy team.

The practice is centrally located with good passing footfall and a strong reputation in town. We already have four dentists and a therapist, but we are looking to expand our team to meet patient demand.

This opportunity can be flexible to the needs of the candidate, but there is an existing list available for transfer and plenty of scope to grow this.

We are a mixed NHS and private practice with a friendly, supportive team environment.

Who are we looking for?
  • Someone committed to a high level of clinical care 
  • A passion for continuous professional development
  • Experience in General & Private dentistry although we can support someone who is new out of VT or similar. If you have an interest in Facial Aesthetics or any other special interests you’d like to develop this would be an asset to our team, but is not essential
  • Experience with Software of Excellence (SOE) practice software is preferable but training will be provided
  • GDC registration and VT number are required
  • Full or part-time hours considered.
