Independently-owned general dental office seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our team! We are expanding our office and need another motivated person to join our family-like work environment!
Chair-side assisting Doctor
Supply ordering/ inventory management
Carefully caring for equipment
Lab work as indicated (pouring models, taking impressions)
Assist the hygienists and dentist in keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently
Clinical charting in our electronic EAGLESOFT software system
Accurately entering clinical notes- detail very important
Cleaning/ turning rooms/ seating patients
Polishing, flossing, taking x-rays (must be able to take a FMX)
Willingness to learn and help out anywhere in the office!
Previous training on scanning with a Cerec omnicam machine, and maintaining a milling unit highly favored
This person also has to be able to jump from clinical side to front office side at a blink of an eye, and maintain a happy, personable and comforting demeanor no matter where they are.
Ideal applicant will be outgoing, organized, energetic , have outstanding communication and patient service skills, as well as previous dental assisting experience, but most importantly is a "self-starter" who can work independently and is able to anticipate need. Also must be willing to help out wherever needed, including helping in the front office when needed.
Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software is a MUST!

Patient appointment hours are currently Tuesday-Friday 9-5, expected to arrive by 8:30am. Lunch break times vary. Possibly expanding to occasional Monday appointment times as well in the near future.

Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments during treatment of patients.
